These photos document some of the Design Education MA seminars from the modules Radical Pedagogies, Spaces and Practices of Design Education and Methods and Processes for Research and Practice (Independent Research Project) at Goldsmiths University.
Students are encouraged to visually map and structure their thinking on interconnected written and practice-based assignment briefs. Using diagrams, post-its and other mixed media, they are able to conceptualise a holistic view of their work as it progresses as they stand back and make connections. The method also facilitates learning collaboratively, allowing students to communicate and develop ideas together.
